They write the stats as if we’re all guilty.

Years ago I was taking my written test to renew my driver license.

The multiple choice question asked “After 12 am, what percentage of drivers are legally intoxicated?” I decided to skip the choices and wrote in “I don’t care because I’m not one of them.”

The DMV lady gave me a huge scowl.

The correct answer is zero.

No driver is capable of driving while intoxicated, legally.

Drivers who are illegally driving because they meet the legal definition of intoxication is a different answer.
