There is no guarantee to getting acceptance to top colleges.

And this says she didn’t get UNCONDITIONAL acceptance, so she was accepted to some, with some conditions, which is not unreasonable.

Some people have unrealistic expectations about how life should be. Who or what experiences gave her such expectations about how her life would proceed?

Probably didn’t get the best grades and couldn’t parlay that into acceptance at the College of her choice.

Maybe Mom and Dad can pony-up and pay a college for their daughter’s acceptance, like everyone else does.
