Despite it being from ABC, it was a lovely video of Donald and Melania coming down the golden escalator. In the snippet of Donald speaking to the crowd he has a beautiful Mar-a-Lago tan, normal in color.
Was the orange tan that we saw later a complete, photo-enhanced myth? Did a 4 am message come out to the media saying, “Make Trump look ridiculous. Paint his screen image orange.” Did anyone here see candidate Trump in person during this time? Was he really orange?
I long thought that DJT added the orange tint to get more attention, which worked. Now I wonder.

It was discovered, I believe during the campaign, that various networks were adding orange to Trump via technology. People were comparing various networks and feeds and some were more orange, or less, or even normal.
It was their little way of sticking it to him.
I think in the passed he’s been known to maybe spend too much time in the tanning bed so he gets those white looking eyes in a tanned face. He also may have used self tanners that tended to look orange. He said he would probably tone it down when he would be elected and so he has. That said, it was never that big a deal and I think the media most definitely messed with the images and drove the whole thing.
