Coincidence or foreshadowing. The Incredible Mr. Limpet was on a couple of days ago (I believe TCM). It seemed strange at the time.
But, was this a suggestive reminder, intended for the American viewing audience, and intentionally placed by the Deep State. Without this showing, the public at large wouldn’t know what a limpet mine was.
Could the placement of the mines be the Deep State trying to draw Trump into war?
It was the MSM and the Dems that beat the drums of war loudly about weapons of mass destruction, during the Bush administration, and then both turned on on a dime and accused Bush of dragging the US into war, and lying to the American People.
To top it off, it was an attack on Japanese assets, using the same type of mine employed against the Japanese during WWII, all while the Japanese representative was in Iran.
The attacks on Japanese tankers after a cozy meeting between Abe and Trump reeks of deep state antics. This is likely obvious to those who are even only half awake. The rest are caught up in what POTUS replied to Stephy and the Dem echo chamber that ensued.

Seems to me it was really a message to the Japanese, a la when POTUS launched missiles over the creme brulee with the Chinese lemon pucker president dude.
