Honestly, if a stranger calls you on the phone asking who will you vote for, do you even answer the phone, much less tell them you political views. There’s something wrong with anyone who does, and that explains why these results always favor Democrats.

As noted, telling an anonymous pollster you’re voting for Trump in 2020 is the same as wearing a MAGA hat in Portland or telling a pollster how many guns you own.
As the election gets closer the polls will be even more wildly skewed in favor of Democrats.
I’ve even read online a stern lecture from a Pew researcher that “citizens have a civic duty to answer pollsters truthfully and honestly”.
