The question always comes down to what is the nature of the choice being made? Making it about “choice” itself is a classic example of misdirection, and is a way of masking over the horror of the actual thing being chosen. Those of similar moral persuasion been down that road before, using language to say things they don't mean (”resettlement”, “going to the showers”, et al.). The endpoint is always measureless slaughter.
