"Have you watched the video? It’s worth the 26 minutes."I'm sure it is interesting and valuable, but a transcript can be read in a fraction of the time. A half hour of my time watching TV is too valuable to waste.
The problem is that 5 or 6 videos show up every day and if you were to watch them all then that is 3 or 4 hours down the tube. Transcripts and text articles can be read in a couple of minutes.

I prefer the video in order to see the speakers demeanor and attitude when speaking. I also have poor eyesight.
It's ok to disagree.
