Amen to that! I’m trying to instill in my daughter the fact she needs to be able to take care of herself and any children she has just in case she finds herself in the situation where she has to. Women also need to be able to do somethings around the house other than cooking and cleaning. Even though my daughter is only 10 she knows how to apply and sand drywall, paint, how to use a hammer, and a screwdriver.
Sounds like you are doing great with her. She is about old enough to mow the lawn, if she’s big enough to push the mower.
