I worked roofing, painting, wallpapering and at a cabinet shop. One of the builders I worked for would put me in charge of the crews if he had to leave.

I'm a flooring contractor (mostly new construction). Design showers, organize the jobs, hire installers, etc. I am on job sites every day...and I often carry bags of concrete or 50-60# boxes of product. Sometimes, I'm schlepping that product while walking on a narrow board that is suspended over an unfinished stoop...or up a makeshift plywood "ramp" into the house from the garage at some ridiculous angle.

I'm over 50 years old & weigh 120 pounds (can deadlift 170:). If I were younger, I would definitely consider installing...those guys/gals make a LOT of money if they do quality work.
