I guess there aren't many good teams in the Asian region, which is comprised mostly of Muslim countries, where they probably don't even have women's teams.
Yeh, good point. There are approximately two hundred countries +/- in the world depending on the way. If you toss out most of the African, Asian and some east European countries, then the talent pool becomes pretty thin. It takes a lot of money to develop a top-tier world-class team that would be truly World Cup competitive. The Cup Executive Board says theyre starting to do that. But, it will take a butt load of money and resources to make it happen.
