What a sanctimonious narcissistic @ss.

....One more example of why the Tony Awards hit their lowest ratings in seven years.

You know, Cosmo Kramer won a Tony for “Scarsdale Surprise” and he didn’t have anything to do with it!

. He won by playing Howard Beal in a play version of Network. Beal seeing his ratings tank, says on air the he was going to kill himself to get a cheap rise in the ratings. It then snowballs and the network hires a black terrorist group to blow up the ratings even more. Beal it turns out lied so creating fake news for the sake of ratings. Cranston is to damn stupid to make the most simplistic connection, he won for playing a newsman faking the news!

Walter White was a “deplorable.”

A grad school drop-out public high school chemistry teacher who missed out on his share of a tech startup that went big and started cooking meth while he was dying of cancer?

Walter White may have been deplorable, but it's not at all clear he was "a deplorable."

Good year for Paddy Chayevsky, I guess, who also appears as a character in the recent Fosse/Verdon miniseries.

Too bad for him that he died in 1981, mad as hell and not going to take it anymore.
