It probably cost too much for the cartoons so it’s easier to stop publishing cartoons than to run them in the newspaper. Besides more advertising space or a space for more liberal rants against the orange man.

I don't care what the NYT does; it's not even fit to line a cat's litter box. That they would publish such anti-semitic cartoons, which would have fit right in Der Stürmer, is proof that they can no longer be taken seriously as a reliable news source. Their personal bias colors their stories to such an extent that any pretense of "fair and balanced" reporting is laughable.
