I’m relatively alone disliking it. Gay promotion and trashing of the male white heroes, as well as ending their stories. Predictable and too much time spent on everybody being depressed.
Oh no you're not! It went on the "Unwatchable" pile about 20 minutes in. Hollywood is nothing more than a propaganda mill where the writers suck so bad they have to plagiarize old comic books but this one rates up there at the top on the "YUUCCH!" scale.
I liked it. After seeing it a second time, I liked it more, sans as you mention the stupid homosexual scene at the beginning and the female PMS Amazon scene at the end.
But I have to hand it to the writers: they didn’t just wrap up THREE movies, they wrapped up (I think) SEVENTEEN if you include “Thor,” “Captain America,” “Ant Man,” “Iron Man,” “Guardians,” “Doctor Strange,” “Captain Marvel,” and the “Avengers”. That’s some feat.
Aquaman and Ant-Man and the Wasp were the two best comic book movies of the last 18 months. Better than either Avengers movie, Captain Marvel, Panther. Better. Jason Momoa’s unexpected comic talent and the combination of Paul Rudd, Michael Pena and Walton Goggins make it so.
I thought it was boring. A lot of time spent on personal relationships that I only half remembered the back story too. And I agree, the whole beer belly Thor thing was a shot at people who happen to be white.
