One “bedroom community” is completely surrounded by water. People there work in the factories in Seymour and Columbus. Some could not get home after work. Thank God everyone is related to everyone around here.
One of my “kids” got his kayak out and was checking on his neighbors. No one had electricity in that area. He’s the one that brings groceries to three of his elderly neighbors during snow storms and minor flooding. CRoss country truck driver who can handle any road condition He usually made deliveries on his Hummer. and now with river condition he’s changed to “boat”.
Just love how neighbors help neighbors.
