the law that “allows” congress to get anyone’s tax returns, also allows the President to get anyone’s tax returns.
The House will ultimately get the returns via the new NY law that allows it...( probably leaked )
Federal taxes. Federal laws. Federal laws supersede state law. They may be able to get his state taxes but NOT federal. Expect it to be taken to SCOTUS because most state taxes are dependent on Federal guideline for adherence! If NY tax forms do not ask any questions dependent on his federal taxes they MAY have a shot at it.
