I had that problem because no matter where I put the staff the squirrels would eat the plastic off the feeder. So I went to Ace and bought a funnel and placed it on my staff. It moves when you touch it so if a squirrel touches it he can't get traction to climb it. Its a must for a feeder.

It reminds me of the movie.."My Cousin Vinny"....when she talks about in the south and cars getting into mud..and they need positive traction...lol

LOL The animal right people would come and get me with that contraption. But then, the squirrels may love it.

Woke up in the middle of the night with the normal “rainy painy”
Finally got back to sleep. OTOH. Cleaned out the e-mail, (too much junk mail.)Ordered tractor and tiller parts. And caught up on reading! Fed the kitten (who has been sleeping close again) So I’m still in reclining position.

Forecast looks like boat building weather. Farmers have a lot of corn planted in this area. (Even in the bottoms). Just hoping they don’t get flooded. VEry little will be knee high by the Fourth of July. Harvest will be Thanksgiving or later. One of our Young Farmers (62) passed this week of cancer. He and sons farm 1,000 plus acres. Good generous man who will be missed by many. Thank God there is no estate tax.

Stone will be another patriotic hero if this all comes out. I suspect the court or prosecutors to dismiss case. Then Stone will have to sue for damages and go through discovery that way. He’s NOT going to let go of this mission (impossible or not)!

Talked to my friend whose in-laws are Iranian last night. She said there are so many hands in the country that don’t have a clue what others are doing. Very tribal. The government tries to control through control of water etc,but all that does it make more liars and resentment. And create more bad actors.
Like in a dysfunctional family with control issues the one that is suppose to be and often appears to be in control is not! Or at least isn’t for very long or in control of ALL areas.
