Who is MORE Socialist, a Commie or a Nazi? id say they are equally Socialist.
Pre-1934, there was a good bid of diversity in the Nazi party, with the leftist Socialists like Rolm, the Strassers, etc, (and the bulk of the SA). On the other end were the nationalists and ‘von’s and ritters. There were even some monarchists.
While even those on the right end of the scale were generally ok with Bismarkian social welfare, they were opposed to the Socialist (SDP) and the Communists.
Of course, after the Night of the Long Knives, the hard left was gone, and the party ended up going the third way (Fascist) with an accommodation with the capitalists, and walked back the more extreme portions of their party platform from the 1920s.
