Pauley Perrette has confirmed rumors of Mark Harmon's alleged role in her 2017 exit from "NCIS."
The actress spoke out against her longtime co-star on Twitter, saying she has no intentions of returning to the CBS drama because she is "terrified" of Harmon.

His sister married Ricky Nelson (Ozzy and Harriet’s son). She and Ricky got into drugs, split and Ricky got custody of the kids (well, yeah, $$$). Mark got her into rehab. Mark and wife, Pam Dawber (Mork and Mindy), got temporary custody of one nephew while she was in rehab and later dropped the case but retained visitation to make sure he was in a safe household.
Sounds like he’s a good man.
He got a lot of bad publicity in the 80s when he tried to gain custody of his nephew from his sister. He was married to Pam Dawber at the time. I don’t remember the details but he eventually dropped the suit probably because the two of them didn’t like the negative publicity.

His sister’s legal team was about to bring up Dawber’s past drug abuse(cocaine) and her past abortion.
When Harmon got wind of that, he couldn’t drop the lawsuit fast enough.

He saved a 16 year old from burning to death in a car wreck by breaking the window and dragged him out of the seatbelt.
Most of Hollyweird would be too squeamish to rush toward a car that might explode any minute and would be too worried about getting their pretty faces burned.
He looks fine for 67.

I never saw the show but I was shocked to find out she was still doing the Goth bit all those years later. You’d think the character would have grown out of it. I do know that she was once gushing about the fact that Michael Obama was said to watch NCIS.
He looks horrible ...
and with a damn lousy toupee that just sits on top.
I like the quirky young woman who took her place. She is youthful without being immature like the Abby character. 40-somethings wearing goth accessories and side ponytails just doesn’t radiate good emotional health.

Companies ‘pay off’ unfounded allegations all the time.
There are entire law firms that do nothing but pursue false allegations and greatly exaggerated claims to out of court settlements; where all parties agree to no wrongdoing but with large cash settlements.
Even 7 figure settlements can be less expensive than bad publicity.
Giving her a show that will get cancelled after a handful of episodes costs virtually nothing.

First off, notice CBS has not really denied this happened. And I’m not sure why you think a ‘handful’ of episodes ‘cost virtually nothing.’
Second, if you’re going to ‘pay’ her off, why not just pay her and make her shut up. But they haven’t.
Third, it can cost up to $10 million to make a pilot, and then $3-4 million to make each episode, whether it’s aired or not.
According to the Net, ‘Broke’ has a 13 episode contract with an option for a full 22 episode season.
So we’re looking at about 50 million just going in.
Plus the producer of the show is the same one that produced the very successful Jane the Virgin, and one of her costars is also from that show.
Believe me, CBS is not throwing all this money and talent away, when they could just pay her off if these were ‘unsubstantiated’ claims.
