I’m also in love with that big ol’ Fodera bass.

I remember getting her first album and thinking "she's like Keith Jarret, Keith Emerson and Oscar Peterson all rolled into one", so when I heard she was going to playing at the Cafe Helsinki, a bar not very far from me I went to check her out.
I sat at the corner of the bar and from all of ten feet away, watched her and her Berklee fellow grads give an incredible performance to a crowd of about a dozen people. Afterwards I ran out to the car to get the CD and had her autograph the jacket, figuring she would hit it big one day.
From the looks of it, she's playing much bigger venues these days.

Junior Walker. Yeah, man! He's not in my working vocabulary, John Coltrane, Dexter Gordon, Michael Brecker.
But he's good to go. Thanks for sharing!
