Chloe was a favorite of mine - until the last two seasons. Her character did not just become darker, her acting became detached. I could not buy that she loved Oliver. Her truncated role in the final season was due to her choosing her cult over her career.
My Daughter gave me Smallville seasons 1-6 on DVD. I later purchased season 7 on Blu-Ray. I may have seen one or two episodes after season 7 but it had become basically unwatchable.
I guess it might have gotten good again as I would not have known.
I know Superman and Superboy etc. are fantasy characters but Smallville originally made him seem more human. They eventually drifted away from that idea. I will say they had some hot girls in it.
