Maybe if Stalin didn’t agree to carve up Poland with Hitler, Russia wouldn’t have had to fight the Nazis.

Maybe if Pilsudski didn't sign a nonaggression pact with Hitler in 1932, Germany wouldn't have had time to rearm itself.
