Yes, and Tesla made an acquisition this year that should help with the batteries.

Next year’s Model S is supposed to have over 400 miles of range.

I understand that a charge to 80% takes about as long as the final 20%. On Tesla’s latest chargers that should equate to a time of ten minutes or less.

200kw is a lot of juice. Particularly when thousands of these things are trying to charge. Do these sensitive environmentalist realize what it will take to make enough electricity to charge these cars? They think you just plug them into the wall.. .
