This (large-many links) site is a running story by a young Ukranian girl riding A Kawasaki motorcycle (later an auto with friends) around the Chernobyl area with pictures & commentary. Back in the day (5-10 years ago)I thought it was one of the most interesting sites on the internet.

I found the commentary outstanding if her English is rough at points. The comments are a little antinuke, but not what one might expect from a young girl riding around an area of vast devastation with only a Geiger counter for protection.

Watch “The Babushkas of Chernobyl.” It’s an excellent documentary of the women who live immediately around it, against the law.
