Most Indian tribes supported the British and fought for the British.

The Indians had a real knack for picking the losing side—although I do understand the reasons for their choices.
• In the French & Indian War most tribes supported the French. The French lost.
• In the American Revolution most tribes supported the British. The British lost.
• In the War of 1812, most tribes supported the British. The Brits didn’t win.
• In the Civil War, many tribes supported the South. The South lost.

The Indians had a real knack for picking the losing side —

Except at their casinos.

Your history is lacking.

Due to the Iroquois Sachem Shikellamy being friends with the Penn Family, he convinced the Iroquois to side with the British in the French/British war.

However, the tribe was large and extended into Canada. Some sided with the French.

You can understand why Andrew Jackson had no great love for the Indians.
