“Demographics is destiny.”

The supposition that underscores your comment is that people always vote consistent with demographics. We need to make that premise untrue, and I think we can. We need to push the true narrative that we are all individuals, and one of the biggest strengths of America is that is allows and encourages people to grow as individuals. That message is much, much, much more powerful than group identity. People who are most susceptible to group identity are those who have struggled as individuals. We need to augment opportunities for individuals (as Trump is working hard to do), so that people vote on the basis of what’s best for society and human growth, and not on the basis of resentment and group identity.

and not on the basis of resentment and group identity People will always have group identities, that is human nature. Sure, it has been exacerbated by race baiting, but it will never not be the case. The people being brought in here are some of the most ethnocentric in the world, this isn't by accident.
