Yeah but the Beto-Cruz election was very close. If Biden picks Beto for VP. What then?
2018 was a midterm election in which the media and the DNC went all out for the Senate. Even maxing out Rat votes AND with a libertarian taking 65,000 votes from Cruz, Cruz still won by 215,000 votes. That’s not “very close.” Add the 65k libertarian votes to Cruz and he’s almost at a 300k margin.
Oh, and Abbott ran way, way ahead of Cruz.
