Well, I guess we will disagree on this.
I just think we can carry our fight without having to resort to their tactics...which show how weak their arguments are, because they have to resort to things like stealing signs, etc.
When I first read Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals”, I was so disgusted by the work I couldn’t even dictate it (I was going to create an audiobook for friends, damn any copyright on it)
It left a mark on me, and I thought “No matter what, I am not going to resort to their tactics as outlined in the book...”
Though I do admit, there are some that can be used, such as forcing them to abide by their own rules. That one can be quite satisfying.
I just won’t follow their other “rules”. I need to stay honest with myself, because Lord knows, there is enough temptation to lie, cheat, and steal without that anger an emotion.
I understand you may feel differently. I just know that if I were organizing a protest, I would counsel everyone on our side to observe the law, because in the end, it is one of our core values on the right, IMO.

Alinsky may have been a scumbag, but he was undeniably a genius, and his tactics worked. They are winning, and we are not. From where I am sitting, failing to adopt the same strategy as the left is like trying to defeat Nazi Germany with peaceful demonstrations instead of unleashing the hounds of war upon them.
