I see no mention of her parents. Where were they in all this? Or was she made a ward of the state so they couldn’t intervene while the state encouraged her to permit herself to be murdered?
Something truly smells here.
I wonder if there has been any action or demonstration against this by the Dutch themselves. Surely, not all of them are comfortable with a “mercy killing” of a mentally troubled teen.

Arthur Seyss-Inquart mounted a spirited defense at the Nuremberg trials. But his five-year administration of Nazi-conquered Holland was to send him to the gallows. He claimed that his administration eased problems and shortages for the Dutch and he was able to rationalize many of his shocking decisions. After his death sentence he returned to the Roman Catholic Church and received its sacraments.
I first set foot in Holland in 1983 and I loved the place. But these continuing euthanasia cases are absolutely sickening. They constitute, along with American infanticide, a real obvious sign of the death of Western Christian culture.

That is exactly right. She likely was angry with her attackers. Which it's clearly more important protect diversity then for justice and help for victims.

People who wonder why European Jews who survived the Holocaust fled to Israel need to understand that European governments systematically looted their possessions in the post-war era. The girl requested euthanasia, unbeknownst to her parents, but was refused. Her parents requested shock treatments since psychiatry so far hadn’t helped her. That was refused, because she was too young.
The girl then just quit eating and died.

Or how it came to be that she was raped when she was 11, 12 and 14 years old.
