Many years ago, I got as a Christmas present some sort of Jeopardy! contraption which allowed me to keep score of my answers. I routinely went over $100K (which was the limit on the device) because I realized that I was betting of OPM, which is what Holzhauer realized.

Of course, I always rang in first, sitting on my sofa.
