I live in extremely close proximity to Chicago, and frequently reference Hey Jackass. Either you’re a local or just really good at digging up the dirt on this worthless excuse of a city. Either way, that source is as good as one gets when it comes to our local crime and homicide rate.
I’m about 20 miles nw of downtown Detroit. I’ve lived in Detroit 4 different times in my younger days. I grew up in Lincoln Park on the border of sw Detroit. I was a couple of miles away from the ‘67 riots when National Guard troops and tanks were on Grand River Ave. in Detroit. I graduated from Wayne St. University in Detroit. I’m very familiar with that violent city.
