Did anyone else see him in a live performance?
I had the wonderful experience of hearing Zig speak once. I must have listened to dozens of his tapes.
Ziglar? I had dinner with him and half a dozen others in the early eighties. I was dating one of the warm up speakers at an event in Honolulu. Everyone got together after the event. One thing he said has stuck with me ever since:
"You can have everything your hear desires if you will but help enough other people to get the things they want."
Saw Zig several times.
Wish I’d had his book many years earlier.
My real estate broker treated all of us agents to one of his seminars in the early ‘80’s. The quote I remember best was the attitude he recommended we take when dealing with a client: “Your money is in their pocket.”
