I along with several college friends observed a UFO back in 1966. This was in a rural area near the Eglin AFB reservation.
After thinking about it for years, I think it was probably a balloon. The only thing I can’t figure out is that it was sort of floating. Then disappeared.

That’s usually what happens when a balloon is high enough and suddenly pops. It seems to just disappear.
