The left has some strange ideas about all of this.
On the one hand they think that marriage is a patriarchal oppressive Institution for Women. Some will say marriage is an archaic institution; that women should not participate.
But then the same people who tell us all the problems with marriage, are the same ones who insisted we must have homosexual marriage. Go figure.
They tried to use a lesbian divorce case to overturn Texas’ laws regarding marriage only being between a man and a woman.
Love is a lie. Their agenda is not about love. It’s about tearing down foundational institutions.
