Garlic is the only thing that is growing for me in northern Illinois. Tomato plants about 3 inches high. My pepper plants got up to about 2 inches then the rabbits ate them. Farmers here gave up and will take their insurance. 2019 = write-off.
Wow, that’s too bad! I’m sorry to hear that.
My maters are growing rapidly, my sugar snap peas are 6’ high on their trellises, my garlic is high and ready to flower, my lettuce and chard are bolting, darn it, my cantaloupes and honeydews are kind of stagnant, they really aren’t growing.
My zukes are exploding, though!
I hope your garden does better next year. Last year my corn, broccoli and strawbs all died on the vine, awful year for them.
