I would have had a heart attack right then and there. I lived on the Space Coast for 5-6 yrs and never saw a gator in the wild except at Cape Canaveral.
Smashed up all he wine bottles, so the gator is a mean drunk after he has had a few!
Make sure and use an Aligator clip.
You’d win, but I’m pretty sure that’s 5 years/$5k. I know when I woke up to one on my doorstep, I was told to let animal control deal with it because it was a felony charge to even hurt the thing (did make for an enjoyable call to my boss to let him know why I was running late, tho).
HA I wondered why the headline wasn’t “....Florida Man....” and now I now why.

Once saw a Florida Highway Patrolman shoot a 10-footer between the eyes with a Colt Python .357. The slug just bounced off, and the gator shook his head a few times.
Got to shoot them from behind the skull, about where an ear ought to be.
