"Bill Gates downplays renewable energy: Do you guys on Wall Street have something in your desks that makes steel? Where is fertilizer, cement, plastic going to come from?"
WTH?! Hole-eee crapola. Who knew so many FReepers were just as smart at billy boy gates? Actually we're smarter since we realize the "greenhouse gas emissions" are mostly hot air and bovine exhaust by products.
Wow, did the earth just stop spinning?
Bill Gates is now an Expert on Global Warming , LOL
Common sense from Bill Gates? Color me stunned!
Holy... Bill had a moment of clarity.
Very cool technology.
For a couple of decades we had a push to reduce pollution. We finally got emissions down to very nearly zero... and they moved the goal-posts. Because if they recognized that our power plants don’t pollute anymore, they’d have nothing to talk about, and nothing to drive fund-raising.
Behind that is the push for centralized control of the economy. Whatever you’ve got, global warming, global cooling, global stayin’-right-where-it-is, the answer is centralized control of the economy, with them at the top.
Is this satire?
Welcome aboard the common sense train Bill. Maybe you should send a memo over to the Apple fanboys. Never mind, they still hate you, but at least these days they hate President Trump more.
Nice to see Bill Gates back in the arena using his brain rather than just jetting around the world giving money away...it's about time...
So easy a liberal techie can figure it out.
Gates may right about nuclear. My rocket fuel and nuclear scientist BiL (also a lib enviro) says if you are serious about emission reduction nuclear is the only hope. He also HATES wind power.
While we’re on about climate nonsense...
whoever has the climate change ping, John Casey’s documentary “Dark winter’ is going to be aired at 9PM Central on Newsmax.
DirecTV channel 349
Dish 265 I think,
Fios around 615
Excellent documentary, I’ve watched it several times.
His NYC publicists must be reeling.
Bill isn’t very bright. If it weren’t for much smarter people running Microsoft, you would never have heard of bill.
