Here’s Dr. Hal Puthoff at the SSE/IRVA Conference, Las Vegas, 8 June 2018. The General Relativity solutions to superluminal space travel have been solved. All you need is to create a wave in spacetime, negative gravity in front (a bump) and regular gravity in back (a dent), in 4D. The benefit of negative gravity (from quantum vacuum energy) is that inertial mass decreases with acceleration (Star Trek’s inertial dampeners).
High energy experiments from CERN et al. may have provided the answers that we have been seeking. If we can manipulate the electric permittivity and magnetic permeability using electromagnetic fields (terahertz), waveguides and metamaterials, superluminal propulsion is achievable. Here we have zero inertial mass (people can travel onboard), unbounded upper limit on faster-than-light travel, new accessible habitable worlds. Passengers, welcome (2050)?
