I played a fair amount of baseball, including a little in college. So, when my son started playing LaCrosse, and wanted to toss the ball around together, I thought - how hard can it be? It’s just like having a mitt, except it’s on a stick.
Thing is, it’s not the same. He flung the ball at me with a defenders stick (long, thus lots of leverage - as you know), and it bounced off my head. That thing (the LaCrosse ball) is hard.. I had a nice knot on my head.
Nobody cares where you’re from.
