the old ‘farmers’ treatement for extremely chapped hands, take a whizz on my feet and toes on a regular basis.

Way back when.. a friend and I were diving in the Bahamas.
Along came a very large and frightening fish. We thought it best to get out of the water. In our haste, we were both skewered by sea urchin spines, many of them.

They said it was many miles to the local hospital and$$$ cash only... or do as the locals, pee on the injuries.

It worked! Although I had many black spots on the inside of my fingernails, for a long time.

Your note and others point to the yeast/fungus ‘clinging ‘ to my skin. Perhaps soaking in a bath of the lucky number PH, might keep the bugger at bay?

Yes, it is a ‘treatment’ which garners many raised eyebrows and the natural -at least to me- why not?

For a cat bite or ‘deep scratch’ I will flush it with hot water, peroxide or alcohol, ‘expose’ it to air while at home and fill the crater with Neosporin (Best invention in my lifetime) and bandaid when leaving house.
When first scab grows over, pull and what is exposed gets hot water, shot of own nectar, neosporin cover and leave it along.
Watch for ‘red streaks’ usually none - if find pull scab and repeat process....usually it will heal within a week and no vision of scar... of course my hands so rough and weatherbeaten don’t notice the ‘scars’.

Speaking of ‘natural cures’, reminds me of Sailor and soldier in head getting ready to leave, the soldier hits the water while the sailor smooths his hair, adjusts his jumper and starts to leave.
Soldier-In the Army they teach us to wash our hands after taking a whizz.
Sailor-In the Navy they teach us to not pee on our hands.

As to your ‘query’ why not? When all else fails etc etc etc.
