Tell her to sue. Put me on the jury. Will make sure she then owns all of the apartments.

Will you be renting a room to her?
Waste of time. It is legal in CA to evict a tenant if the unit is required for a family member of the owner.
Happened to me.
Hope this old lady finds a good home in which to live out her remaining years.
“Tell her to sue. Put me on the jury. Will make sure she then owns all of the apartments.”

Baloney——it’s the landlord’s property,he/she can do what they want.
Just because she’s old doesn’t matter.
.
“Tell her to sue.”
For what exactly?
That is one of the risks for a month to month rental, it goes BOTH ways.
It’s sad that she’s 102 and being given the boot, but there is little recourse.
Calling Hot Bench...
Calling Judge Judy...
Calling People’s Court....
Calling Judge Mathis.......
“Tell her to sue. Put me on the jury. Will make sure she then owns all of the apartments.”
That will make rental property more available exactly how?
They are forcing the landlord to provide the use of his property to a tenant at below market rates. They are stealing from the landlord.
They found an old lady getting evicted with 90 days notice, plenty of time to find another place to live.....IF there were no rent control.
They want landlords to not have a say over their property.
You are a fool for for falling for it.
