I don’t have that skill or aptitude at all.
Some of my friends do. From what I’ve observed, it takes a great deal of PATIENCE to be a good mechanic. I don’t have that quality of patience.

Our daughter did a couple of engine swaps on her cars.
she looks at it and knows it, just naturally!!!

Our son is a reading machine, he studies the manuals and learns it well, then does the work.
