MoMo couldn’t help himself.He was confronted by an immodestly dressed woman who was approaching a man she was neither married to or sister to. In his culture that is a death sentence for that woman executable by whoever is nearby. How can we blame a man for acting within his own cultural tradition that is just as good as ours. Where are the lefties supporting this man who just did what his religion calls for him to do?

What we have here was an awful rookie mistake, perhaps one that would not have happened if the powers that be had not been so eager to have their token Somali on the force. It may be the political pressure resulted in inaccurate assessments of his performance by instructors or failure to identify weaknesses in his judgement under pressure, or it could also be a couple years of Obama’s war on cops made both men too paranoid. But the idea he fired the shot because she was dressed immodestly is just silly.
