Key figure that Mueller linked to Russia intel was actually a State Department source

When the Mueller report came out, it talked about how PAUL MANAFORT met with Kiliminic at THE STATE DAPARTMENT and how he was some shadowy Russian. At the time on Dark to Light, we asked THEN WHY DID HE MEET AT THE STATE DEPARTMENT?! Because he was a CI. But Manafort?
At this point, the entire Mueller report may as well be thrown into the trash heap where it belongs. What an utter DISGRACE.
And this begs the question: why in the HELL was Manafort sharing internal campaign polling data with a state department CI? Remember what a HUGE deal this was?!

Correction: I misremembered - Manafort met with Kilimnik the same day, but BEFORE Kilimnik went to the State Department for prearranged meeting with SD employees. At the time I was like WHAT?! I thought he was a Russian spy!
Please read Gates - he states that he provided the information to Kilimnik via WhatsApp and immediately deleted it. Manafort says he has no recollection of it.
What just hits me, and hits me hard, is in a hypothetical where we knew there were all of these plants ON THE CAMPAIGN- how quick they were to burn them all to the ground when they were no longer useful and to save their own asses.

POTUS White House bound.
POTUS and FLOTUS stepped off AF1 at 5:05 p.m. He wore the same red USA hat with a navy suit and white shirt with no tie. FLOTUS is wearing a navy dress and heels.
They walked straight to Marine One without coming over to talk to the pool. There were, however, several POTUS tweets fired off from the air.
Dan Scavino and Kellyanne Conway also came down the main stairs and boarded Marine One. Mick Mulvaney, Sarah Sanders and Stephen Miller deplaned via the rear stairs and will be taking vehicles back to the White House.
Marine One lifted off at 5:11.
Turning over to in town pool.
And thanks to all the poolers who did a masterful job this week in Europe: Anne Gearan, Jerome Cartillier, Gabby Orr and the excellent Mark Landler, who we will all miss on this beat.
