AF1 touched down in Caen at 10:22 AM (x-apple-data-detectors://2) local. POTUS and FLOTUS deplaned at 10:32 AM (x-apple-data-detectors://3) . He is wearing a blue tie, while the first lady is sporting a black dress and matching black heels. Your pooler has asked for a list of individuals who greeted them on the tarmac.
Marine One was wheels up at 10:40 AM (x-apple-data-detectors://4) and headed for the landing zone at Normandy American Cemetery. Pool is following by helo.
Here is a full transcript of POTUS’ remarks prior to departure:
“So we’re going to Normandy and it’s going to be something really special. It looks like the weather’s beautiful, but who knows, it changes fast. I think it’s going to be an incredible, special day and in a very special, very important place. So I look forward to that.
As you know, Mexico was in yesterday. They’re coming back this morning — meeting at the White House. I think a lot of progress was made yesterday, but we have to make a lot
of progress. Mexico’s been making for many, many years hundreds of billions of dollars. They’ve been making an absolute fortune on the United States. They have to step up and they have step up to the plate, and perhaps they will. We’re going to see if we can solve the problem.
The democrats in Congress have been a disaster. They won’t change, they won’t do anything. They want free immigration, immigration to pour into our country. They don’t care who it is, they don’t care what kind of a record they have, it doesn’t make any difference. They’re not
going to be changing anything.
We go to ‘em, we say, ‘let’s fix the immigration laws.’ They just want it to do badly. The worse it does, the happier they are. That’s the way it is and I guess that’s the way it’ll be.
Frankly, we could solve this problem so easy if the Democrats in Congress were willing to make the changes. But they’re not... they just want to ride it out. They don’t care about crime, they don’t care about drugs pouring into our country. They couldn’t care less. It’s all politics, so that’s the way it is.
But we’re having a great talk with Mexico. We’ll see what happens, but something pretty dramatic could happen. We’ve told Mexico the tariffs go on, and I mean it too. And I’m very happy with it. And a lot of people, senators included, they have no idea what they’re talking about when it comes to tariffs. They have absolutely no idea. When you have the money, when you have the product, when you have the thing that everybody wants, you’re in a position to do very well with tariffs and that’s where we are.
We’re the piggy bank. The United States is the piggy bank. It has all the money that others want to take from us, but they’re not taking it so easy anymore. It’s a lot different.
Our talks with China, a lot of interesting things are happening. We’ll see what happens. In the meantime, we’re getting 25 percent on $250 billion and I could go up another at least $300 billion, and I’ll do that at the right time. But I think China wants to make a deal badly, I think Mexico wants to make a deal badly, and I’m going to Normandy.”

Pool landed along the coast of Omaha Beach shortly before POTUS after a quick 8-minute helo ride.
Your pooler did not see Marine One land, but heard the crowd applauding POTUS when they showed his arrival on two large video screens. A master of ceremonies informed the crowd at 10:57 AM local that the program
will begin in 15 minutes.
Spotted in the crowd so far: Energy Secretary Rick Perry, Kellyanne Conway, Amb. Woody Johnson, Gen. Keith Kellogg.
