Just a guess but...
If Coats is the one, then he’s all too easy to neutralize in place. Let him produce his tainted work. Get real feed direct from the agencies he’s supposed to collect from.
Best way to know what the enemy wishes you to believe is have the enemy hand deliver it to you.
And best way to tell the enemy what you want them to believe is to tell their mole.
If Coats is bad, and Q’s question last night certainly indicates he probably is, then Trump had a good reason. Trump is not fooled easily, and if he kept a bad guy around it was for a good purpose.
I should have added - Coats’ effusive praise for NoName is enough to damn him bad guy for eternity even without any other evidence.
