Why do anti-abortionists (and I'm assuming that most of us FReepers are anti-abortion) continue using and thus validating the clever label of "pro-choice" invented by those condoning abortion?

Both sides use convenient, self serving euphemisms.

The anti abortionists call themselves “pro-life”, though most are for the death penalty.

The pro-abortionists call themselves pro-choice, to camouflage the fact that they are pro abortion.
