Oppression continues in the Heart of Dixie, as child exercises his white privilege egged on by Unreconstructed Rebel grandmother.
Great story....great kid,great guy!
Grew up on Chicago South Side. Garbage Day was a major event in our neighborhood!
About a dozen of us kids would wait at the entrance at the alley every Wednesday and follow the garbage men down it. It was back in the days of putting your trash in a paper bag, throwing it in a metal can or sometimes putting stuff in a box.
They would go through the boxes and pick out and give us pieces of junk we might think was cool. Garbage Day was the highlight of our week!!!
Years later I became a smelly Wal-Mart shopper. It’s o.k. but no where near the fun of Garbage Day.
Same in virginia. Grams always said you could find what ever you need on the side of the road.
How sweet.
Thanks for posting. It is nice to see something heartwarming like this occasionally among all the other news :)
Nice...every week when the dumpster people come and empties the dumpster, I give them bottle water...
Yeah, boy, this is such a racist country./s.
Loved the video
That was sososo .so worth my time to watch, just made my day a whole lot better.
That was fabulous - thank you. Is it only little Southern boys that are enraptured with garbage trucks? That must have been as thrilling as being in a fire truck for him..
ping your pals
Cute video!
You have to be their favorite stop. A bottle of water gift on an outdoor job is the best ever.
THANK YOU!
I loved the video!,
Yes, just look at those deplorable white people being racist. /s
