Federal funding for abortion is not a matter of federal law or opinion.
More specifically, the states have never given the unconstitutionally big federal government the specific power to tax and spend for abortion purposes. Such funding is a scandalous way for corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification career lawmakers to exploit low-information voters to stay in power, such voters not understanding the fed’s constitutionally limited powers.
