[[[Although Switzerland is not a member of the EU, it must adapt its laws or, if the referendum fails, bow out of the Schengen Area — Europe’s open-border system — and the Dublin Accord for handling asylum applications. ]]]

Sounds like a win-win

Which is weird because Switzerland is NOT as firearm friendly as a lot of folks believe. Way better than the rest of the muzzie infested “yewwwww” but not great.

The whole EU needs to be eliminated. It does more harm than good.

And look at how much trouble the UK is having leaving.

“A provision in the EU directive calls for the weapons law to be reviewed in 2020 and every five years after that.

Also known as the slippery slope.

Sounds like Merkel might have to dust off the plans for Operation Tannenbaum. I wonder if Rommel is still available.

The EU needs Switzerland far more than Switzerland needs the EU.

Not just no, but Hell no!

If the Swiss vote for these restrictions, it will just be the beginning. The EU will not rest until they are disarmed.

Switzerland has done very well with decentralized defense. They have maintained their independence and neutrality as the rest of Europe has torn itself to pieces, over and over again. Why would the Swiss want to jump aboard that Crazy Train?

A little inconvenience at the border is a small price to pay to maintain control of your own country. In fact, given what is happening in the rest of Europe, a little border control is probably a good thing.
