I’ll believe it when I see fines and imprisonments.

You just saw her being arrested!

Let’s try thanking the officer for doing his job!

Thank him...for doing his job?

Do you never thank anyone for doing their job?
I thank people all the time.......teachers.....police officers......military......doctors......etc

Is that a foreign concept for you?
It’s called....courtesy

I go to a large (20,000 member, typically 5-7000 attendance) church. We have, I estimate, half dozen off-duty, uniformed, fully armed police officers in attendance. As well as on-site security people. Any time I pass one, I thank him or her for being there.

Well while you’re being so courteous, explain why this entitled little tart’s name doesn’t show up in any news stories while Jillian Ward was identified after she was arrested on the same campus for punching the same demonstrator just days before.

I’ll be courteous when I feel like it: not when YOU think I should be.

IT good that the officer enforced the law as he saw fit to do under the circumstances. He was polite to the owner of the sign and to the thief. I would have no problem thanking him for doing the right thing in a polite manner to all concerned.

But this is likely a petty misdemeanor (what value on a sign?) and since the owner of the sign has his property back the city judge will likely send her home with some stern words to stay away from the people involved.

It's good that the message is getting out there via brave people willing to stand out in the rain to be heard. They deserve the biggest thank you.

Big, good old-fashioned kudos to you for that comment.

I thank people too. It gives them encouragement and courage to do the right thing when doing it either takes extra effort, isn't necessarily approved by today's society or their boss, or even flies in the face of today's rules of conduct.

The officer did a great job on explaining why the dumb young lady was being arrested. The property owner pleaded with her to return the sign. Teachable moment!

Re: Duraham rioters destroying historic monuments while police look the other way.

In NC police, doing their job isn’t a given.

Fabulous! One of those smart@$$es being SHOWN that others have rights, too. I’m happy that he cuffed her and detained her a bit. She’ll only remember because she was inconvenienced. It won’t change her baby-killing heart, but it may give her pause the next time she wants to rip off someone with whom she disagrees.

So the discussion and reply were related to being courteous to people doing a difficult job.

When I want to virtue-signal, I will tell you about my years in the Peace Corps and my love for my Prius.

We don’t know her name........YET!
But her mug has been posted all over the Internet......no doubt has gone viral.
She didn’t look too happy getting arrested.......quite possibly her parents, who are probably paying for her education, may not share her liberal ideas.....

Little ‘miss know it all ‘might find herself yanked out of school AND have to deal with an arrest conviction!
Remember, the police officer said he couldn’t UNarrest her.

Is this not the same school ...among others.....where this type of maliciousness has been happening lately?

Perhaps the word out is.....Enough is enough!

Good for you!!!!...I know they appreciate this!
I go to a very small church........and we have several members ‘carrying’ to protect us, plus other safety measures.

She’ll only remember because she was inconvenienced.

And she'll be a hero with her friends as she tells them how brave she was to be arrested for standing up for her right to kill a baby.
